At age 14, Bobby Hurd, Jr. was involved in a tragic sailboat accident off the coast of Charleston, SC. Bobby's family resides in Abingdon, VA and is heavily involved in the Hurd Golf Classic. They take pride in the fact that the proceeds from this tournament help local children in his memory.
